Fire Mountain Outfitters operates out of 6 different base camps, each with a spacious cookhouse, comfy guest cabins, and showers at most of them.
There are also numerous satellite cabins throughout the area on lakes and in the high country when on the remote horseback hunts.
For some of the fly in moose hunts we use large wall tents on many of our lakes. These are equipped with wood heaters, cots, air mattresses and a portable shower. This type of setup allows us to slip into one of our many remote lakes during the moose rut. Using boats for getting around makes this a fun and exciting hunt.
